Actors' Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do I seek representation with
PBTalent?
Just click on the seeking representation link and follow the procedure
outlined.
2. Do you require fees up front?
No, in fact any agency that does should be approached with caution. This
is in violation of their state license.
3. Are you franchised by AFTRA and SAG
and licensed by the State?
Yes, we are franchised by both organizations. This means that we must
follow their union guidelines as well as our State's licensing regulations
(our License number is 00000218). It means we are bonded, not once,
but twice. And being franchised enables us to represent union talent.
4. Do you represent union and non-union
talent?
We are franchised by both guilds (AFTRA and SAG) but union membership
is an option here in Texas so we represent both members and non-members.
5. How long does it take to hear whether
you are interested in representing me?
You should hear one way or the other (by phone or in writing) within
two weeks.
6. Do you require on-going training?
Yes, we are not affiliated with any school (our license and franchise
prohibit it) but we expect our clients to continue to grow as actors.
